Mix of the Week

Today's mix doesn't really have a central theme, however there are reoccurring ones. There's more than a few female sung songs about relationships here. Most of those are near the beginning, as well as upbeat, pleasant pop songs. However song 13 marks a transition. Things slow down a bit, getting a bit more intense thematically and musically. It also gets a bit more psychedelic and reverb-filled, with the disc ending with a few fantastic songs from the shoegaze era. As I always do with mixes I worked to make the songs flow from one to the next. It was especially emphasized with this mix as there's a good variety of styles on here and I didn't want it to jump all over the place.

songs about food would be an interesting theme;) also: songs about cities; depressing songs - as opposite to 'cute n happy' (but guess not really an ethical choice), nonsense lyrics songs..:)
