This show features Zach Condon of Beirut in the logo as he saved me from near disaster. I was attempting to switch over from CD to laptop for the second song, yet suddenly got the dreaded “Not Responding” on all the windows open. There’s a bit of awkwardness when I’m trying to kill time on the air. Thus two Beirut songs in a row! Things definitely shaped up by the end though.So as always I give away free tickets to films at the Coolidge Corner and Brattle Theater, as well as shows at The Middle East during my program. Definitely an incentive to listen live! The concert report airs roughly around 8:30.
